Welcome to the Arizona Council of the Blind!
We are thrilled to have found you and welcome to our family. The Arizona Council of the Blind is a community of the blind, visually impaired, our allies, and our partners, which stretches beyond the borders of The Grand Canyon State. We are an affiliate of the American Council of the Blind and have three local chapters: Central (Phoenix area), Southern (Tucson area), and Verde Valley. But, like many have, we have moved to a virtual and hybrid environment, allowing us to welcome anyone from anywhere.
Come join us virtually for our monthly member socials and our support group meetings, and our quarterly game night and state board meetings. Our Central and Southern chapters typically meet virtually once a month and host in-person activities scattered throughout the year. And every April, we host a two day state convention to bring compelling, educational and thought-provoking programming, as well as, annual updates from out state-wide agencies and partners, and of course, our state-wide elections.
We hope you will drop on by, introduce yourself, and take a seat at the table with the Arizona Council of the Blind. Again, welcome and we look forward to meeting you and getting to know you, very soon!!!
Warmest Regards,
Arizona Council of the Blind Board of Directors
